We aim to be part of the solution towards a better future. By working with partners who share our core values, we certainly hope to have a positive effect. Energy used in our facilities are all renewable. Deliveries made locally are all with electric vehicles charged from a hydroelectric grid, therefore our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint are ongoing.
Giving Back
The MAK Group has a policy to give back a portion of our revenues to communities and associations that we deal with. We feel that working in win-win business relationships is key to having long-term sustainable growth. Giving back is a fundamental value of our organization.
The MAK group was born out of the desire to share our values and with our community and hopefully positively influence some positive changes to buying and eating habits.
We are actively involved in promoting sustainable and ethical practices within the food industry and in international trade, which represents sustainable agriculture and a responsible sourcing of ingredients.
Our company works towards promoting environmentally friendly farming practices and responsible supply chain management. We are also committed to transparency in labelling and providing consumers with information about the sourcing of our products.
